Book Description

"I'm sorry, Anya. Please don't look for me."

Those were the last words he had left Anya before disappearing from her life. Having known him through a shared mind link since the early years of her childhood, she can’t help but feel that his sudden absence means he’s in danger. For that reason, she sets out to find her lost friend with the only knowledge about him she has—the name she had once given him: Raymond.

However, the outside world is much darker than she expected. As her country is torn apart by the tyranny of the Dark Lord Kyros, she soon becomes a primary target, and Anya finds herself thrown into a battle that could determine the future of the entire world. But what will she do when everything she thought she knew begins to crumble to ash around her?

Excerpt from Nebula Andra: Synchronicity Abyss

He concentrated, and the fire turned yet again, veering back towards Anya with ferocious speed. Surprised, Anya leapt back, giving her just enough time to send the attack racing towards the man a second time, initiating a battle that had become a sheer volley of will.

“A fellow Gemini, I see... Let’s see who can keep this up longer!” Damien challenged as he blasted the fire back—this time with more strength.

The young woman kept up her concentration, mentally batting the flames towards her opponent as they kept returning. She couldn’t turn to see how her friends fared—one false move and she’d be charred.

He threw it back again and again, increasing its speed, its strength... Her mind began to falter. Sweat poured down her face as she struggled to keep the attack from hitting her. She couldn’t keep it up much longer, yet her life depended on it.

He again shot the blast back towards her, increasing the flames. She concentrated, but she couldn’t hold it properly with her mind. As the fire closed her, the heat sent twinges of fear rolling over her. She stepped back, holding her arms up in defense.

To her surprise, the fire recoiled just before it hit her, deflected back at Damien by a strength unlike any Anya had been using. She watched it with wide eyes as the gears turned in her head.

“Are you all right?”

She gaped, astonished in the best way possible. That voice could only be one person.

“Ray...!”

“Concentrate, Anya,” he said, his voice even. “I can only help you if you focus on the attack.”

Sounds like good, classic witchery to me. Loved the font on the cover and the title is brilliant. I am sure witchy fans will lap this up like whipped cream.
